This is Dark Walnut stained - Deep Rainwashed texture. This process begins by selecting planks that have the proper grain position in the log. Only about 15-20% can be used. Then the wood is soaked and and the softer part of the growth rings removed. This results in the same look as wood exposed to rain for many years.

Natural color balanced Old Teak - Medium Rainwashed. This process begins by selecting planks that have the proper grain position in the log. Only about 15-20% can be used. Then the wood is soaked and and the softer part of the growth rings scrubbed. This is not as deep as the rainwashed and gives a very durable clean semi rustic look.

Lightly bleached - Light Grain Highlighted.  This texture highlights teak's beautiful grain patterns and still hides inevitable nicks dents and scratches.

Natural color balanced old teak - This is deep hand hewn texture.  We don't do much of this these days because it does not take traffic well.  A much more subtle version still reflects lots of light and wears much better.
